- Spices buried behind spices you forgot you had

Divided Bin Next to the Cooktop
Right beside the range, we installed a vertical divided bin designed specifically to hold cookie sheets and flat pans upright. Instead of stacking and lifting heavy pans, Brenda can now slide the bin out and grab exactly what she needs — easily and safely.
This is one of those “why didn’t cabinets come this way?” moments.
Slide-Out Under a Low Microwave Cabinet
Under the microwave was a very low cabinet — the kind most people ignore because it’s so hard to use. By installing a pull-out shelf, that space instantly became accessible, functional storage instead of wasted volume.
Under-Sink Slide-Out (Customized for Plumbing)
Under the kitchen sink, plumbing dictated what was possible. Because the drain line came down too far on one side, we installed a slide-out only on the left side — maximizing usable space without forcing something that wouldn’t work long-term.
This is what custom design really means.
Dry Bar Slide-Outs for Tall Bottles
In the living area, Brenda and Kenny have a dry bar. We installed slide-outs deep and tall enough to accommodate liquor bottles — something traditional shelving struggles with.
The shelves are currently empty because they’re still moving — but the space is ready. Once everything is unpacked, every bottle will be easy to reach, visible, and secure.
Vertical Spice Racks — A Must-Have Feature
In their previous home, we installed vertical spice racks, and Brenda made it very clear:
she was not going to live without them again.
These racks eliminate the frustration of spices hiding behind each other. Every label is visible at a glance — and they also double perfectly for medications or supplements.
Master Bathroom: Hanging Slide-Outs
In the master bathroom, we installed standard under-sink slide-outs along with hanging slide-outs — a unique solution that adds drawer-like storage without interfering with plumbing.
This allows the space under the sink to work harder without sacrificing accessibility.
